Engine swap 1.8 i-vtec to 2.0 i-vtec (type R) I've been comparising the engine bay of a type R with that of a 1.8 i-vtec. At first sight it seems easy to put a 2.0 i-vtec in the place of a 1.8 i-vtec. (their are similarities in the placement of the airbox, ECU and batterie, and some other).
